Scope of Service Reputation Rover provides AI-generated sentiment analysis reports based on publicly available information. These reports are for informational purposes only and do not constitute legal, financial, or hiring advice.
User Responsibilities By using our services, you agree that you:
Will not use reports for unlawful, defamatory, or discriminatory purposes.
Understand that reports are based on available data and may not be comprehensive or up-to-date.
Are solely responsible for any actions taken based on the report’s content.
Payment Terms The Executive Reputation Report is priced at $49 per report, the Company Reputation Report is priced at $105 per report, and the New Hire Background Check is priced at $25 per report. All payments must be made in full before processing. Payments are non-refundable except in cases where we are unable to generate a report. Chargebacks or disputes may result in the suspension of services.
Payment Processing via Stripe All payments for services are processed through Stripe, a third-party payment processor. By using our services, you agree to Stripe’s Terms of Service and Privacy Policy, which govern the payment transaction process. Reputation Rover is not responsible for any issues related to payment processing, including but not limited to payment failures, unauthorized transactions, or payment disputes.
No Guarantee of Accuracy While we strive for accuracy, Reputation Rover does not guarantee that reports are error-free, complete, or current. Users should independently verify any findings before making decisions.
Privacy Policy By using our services, you acknowledge that we collect and process certain personal data. Our Privacy Policy outlines how we handle this data.
Use Limitations Users are prohibited from modifying, reselling, or distributing Reputation Rover reports without written consent. Additionally, reports may not be used as the sole basis for employment, financial, or legal decisions.
Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability Reputation Rover is not a consumer reporting agency and does not provide reports for FCRA-compliant hiring decisions. We are not responsible for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from the use of our reports. Additionally, the reports are not a substitute for professional legal, financial, or HR advice. Reputation Rover’s total liability, whether in contract, tort (including negligence), or otherwise, will not exceed the total amount paid by the user for the service that gave rise to the claim. Reputation Rover will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or business, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
Refund & Cancellation Policy If we are unable to generate a report due to insufficient public data, we will issue a full refund. No refunds will be issued once a report has been delivered.
Compliance with Third-Party Platforms Reputation Rover aggregates and analyzes publicly available information, which may include content from third-party platforms such as social media sites, news websites, and business review platforms. We do not claim any ownership over third-party data, nor do we have control over its accuracy or availability. Users acknowledge that third-party platforms may change their policies or restrict access to data at any time, and Reputation Rover is not responsible for such changes or their impact on our reports.
Governing Law & Dispute Resolution These Terms of Service shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to conflict of law principles. In the event of any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms, the parties agree to resolve the matter exclusively through binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association (AAA) under its Commercial Arbitration Rules. The arbitration shall take place in Delaware, and each party shall bear its own costs. The arbitrator’s decision shall be final and binding, and judgment may be entered in any court of competent jurisdiction. By using Reputation Rover, you agree to waive any right to a jury trial or participation in a class-action lawsuit related to these Terms.
Indemnity Users agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Reputation Rover, its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, agents, and licensors from and against any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including attorneys’ fees) arising out of or related to their use of our services, violation of these Terms, or any actions taken based on the reports generated.
Changes to These Terms We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of our service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
